Points
USSSA uses points to determine seedings for both State Championships and World Series events. The more points a team accumulates over the course of the season the higher seeded, and therefore easier schedule, that team will likely face in State championship and World Series play. Points can be earned by playing in the following:
- USSSA Sanctioned League: 100 points
- USSSA Sanctioned Tournament: Up to 75 points
- USSSA Sanctioned NIT Tournament: Up to 150 points
Playing in an event that takes place on a "Double Points" weekend will result in twice the amount of points given out. Double points weekends for IL, IN, and WI are listed below.
Illinois: April 30-May 2 / May 14-16
Indiana: April 16-18 / June 11-13
Wisconsin: April 24-25 / May 22-23
